Get a technical look at Ellucian’s Data Connect and Ethos. This session will explore integration capabilities, best practices, and real-world use cases for seamless data flow—tailored for attendees responsible for implementation and support.

This session will present a comprehensive approach to data migration methodology, focusing on profiling and analysis to identify and resolve risks, automated data clean-up using scripting tools, ETL processes involving extraction, mapping, and iterative transformation, and rigorous quality assurance and verification through repository checks and output reconciliation. The presentation will highlight the processes and techniques essential for maintaining data integrity and achieving successful system migrations.

This session will using Postman with Ellucian's Ethos Postman Examples and extending it to explore APIs that you intend to use for your Ethos integration projects. We explore the pieces of Postman and Ethos configuration that come together to make Ellucian’s Postman Ethos Integration examples work.  We look at setting up Environments, Collections, Variables, and how to script variables to save your session token for your Ethos integration.  We will cover troubleshooting common Ethos issues associated with return codes.

Data alone doesn’t drive change—insight does. This session,will explore how colleges and universities can transform raw data into meaningful guidance for institutional decision-making. From operational efficiency to student success strategies, she will walk through how analytics can support informed leadership and long-term planning. Drawing on real-world examples, including a platform licensed by Gillette College today, the session highlights practical ways to integrate data insights into everyday processes. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to apply analytics within their own institutional context to produce real, measurable impact.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share their “journey” through the FVT/GE reporting process, including successes, challenges, and best practices. Description:Ready to unlock the full potential of Ellucian Experience? This session demystifies the process of building a custom, configurable, page-backed GraphQL Experience Extension from the ground up. We'll move quickly through essential topics, including licensing and infrastructure prerequisites, setting up your development environment, and scaffolding a fresh extension. You’ll learn how to write and integrate GraphQL queries, manage data loading with React props and hooks (useData, useCache), and apply best practices for rendering, caching, and conditional display. We’ll also walk through creating configuration screens, validating input, and storing admin settings. Finally, you'll see how to replicate card content on a dedicated page and route users seamlessly from card to page with custom buttons. Bonus content will introduce EAEE schema extension techniques and using Insomnia for GraphQL testing. By the end of this session, you’ll be equipped with the tools and techniques to develop powerful, user-centric extensions in Experience—and understand exactly how the pieces fit together. ​​​​​​​​
